Parsec is a DFT program package based on real space basis and norm-conserving pseudopotential.
A database for thermodynamic properties and crystal structures calculated based on the density functional theory by a research group in Northwestern University. OQMD provides over one million data generated by using not only experimental crystal structures provided by ICSD but also those obtained by calculations. Users can search data in OQMD by using Python API.
AMULET is a collection of tools for a first principles calculation of physical properties of strongly correlated materials. It is based on density functional theory (DFT) combined with dynamical mean-field theory (DMFT). Users can calculate physical properties of chemically disordered compounds and alloys within CPA+DMFT formalism.
A open-source application of first-principles calculation for the electronic structure, using the KKR method, a variant of Green’s function method. It is based on the density functional theory and is applicable to crystals and surfaces. The coherent potential approximation (CPA) is adopted, so it can handle not only periodic systems, but also disordered alloys. It can also handle spin-orbit interaction and non-collinear magnetism.
Software package that implements moment tensor potentials. Potentials can be trained and used for molecular dynamics calculations using LAMMPS. Active learning combined with molecular dynamics calculations is also available.
Python library for the Open Quantum Materials Database, a first-principles computational database. qmpy supports several analysis tools such as crystal structures and phase diagrams. Users can perform automatic calculations using VASP.
An application for electronic structure calculations and molecular dynamics simulations based on tight-binding approximation. By the Krylov subspace method, this application performs order-N electronic state calculation for large physical systems including a large number of atoms. It also supports massively-parallel computation using MPI/openMP hybrid parallelism, and has demonstrated calculation of 10^7-atom simulation on the K Computer.
Libtetrabz is a library which perform efficiently the Brillouin-zone integration in the electronic structure calculation in a solid by using the tetrahedron method.
Software framework for training a machine learning model to reproduce first-principles energies and then using the model to perform configurational sampling in disordered systems. It has been developed with an emphasis on multi-component solid-state systems such as metal and oxide alloys. At present, Quantum Espresso, VASP and OpenMX can be used as first-principles energy calculators, and aenet can be used to construct neural network potentials.
CONQUEST is a linear-scaling DFT (Density Functional Theory) code based on the density matrix minimization method. Since its computational cost, for both memory and computational costs, is only proportional to the number of atoms N of the target systems, the code can employ structure optimization or molecular dynamics on very large-scale systems, including more than hundreds of thousands of atoms. It also has high parallel efficiency and is suitable for massively parallel calculations.
