An application for DFTB (Density Functional Tight Binding) calculation combined with Divide-and-Conquer (DC) method. The DC-DFTB-K program enables geometry optimization and molecular dynamics simulation of large molecular systems with linear-scaling computational cost. DFTB electronic structure calculation of 1 million atom system has been demonstrated using MPI/OpenMP hybrid parallel computation on the K computer.
xTAPP is a first-principles plane-wave pseudo-potential code. It computes band structure and electronic states with high precision for a wide range of materials including metals, oxide surfaces, solid interfaces, and so forth. It has support tools and visualization of output and input, is available as a massively parallel computer using OpenMP, MPI, and GPGPU.
QMAS is an ab-initio electronic-structure computational code package based on the projector augmented-wave (PAW) with a plane wave basis set. It computes electronic states and various physical properties efficiently with high precision for a wide range of physical systems. It provides geometry optimization, electronic states in a static magnetic field, permittivity distribution at the atomic-scale, energy and stress distribution, positron annihilation parameters, and so forth.
An application for semi-empirical quantum chemistry calculation. Special emphasis is placed on molecular dynamics simulations, and is able to run efficiently on large-scale cluster computer systems using OpenMP/MPI hybrid parallelism. The code is still under development, but the source code is distributed freely under the GPL license.
An open-source application for first-principles calculation based on all-electron calculations. In addition to ground-state energy and forces on atoms obtained by density functional theory, it focuses on investigation of excited state properties using time-dependent density functional theory as well as many-body perturbation theory. It is parallelized using MPI and is also optimized for multithreaded math libraries such as BLAS and LAPACK.

This application is capable of performing electronic structure calculations, structural relaxation, and molecular dynamics in a wide range of systems based on density functional theory. By adopting atom-localized basis sets, it realizes high-speed electronic calculation and linear-scaling in suitable computer systems. It can also perform electronic conductance calculations based on non-equilibrium Green’s function method.

An open-source application of semi-empirical/ab-initio quantum chemical calculation that comes under an academic license. It performs various quantum chemical calculations based on Hartree-Fock theory, density functional theory, and configuration interaction theory, yielding electronic states and enabling structure optimization and molecular spectrum analysis. Molecular dynamics calculation based on the QM/MM method is also possible by using this software in combination with GROMACS.
