Debian Live Linux System that contains OS, editors, materials science application software, visualization tools, etc. An environment needed to perform materials science simulations is provided as a one package. By booting up on VirtualBox virtual machine, one can start simulations, such as the first-principles calculation, molecular dynamics, quantum chemical calculation, lattice model calculation, etc, immediately.
Program libraries for alloy modeling analysis using a cluster expansion method. Energy of alloy systems evaluated by other electronic state calculation libraries is used as an input, and atomic configuration effects are evaluated with the accuracy of a first principles calculation. Ground state structures, evaluation of thermodynamic quantities, equilibrium diagrams, disordering by temperature, etc. can be calculated with high accuracy.
Program package for molecular dynamics simulation. This package includes various material parameters such as peptides, proteins, nuclear acids, carbohydrates, ligands etc., and can perform molecular dynamics simulation of biological macromolecule and cells. This package consists of software for input preparation, simulation, and analysis of results, and is widely used in pharmacy and biological science.
An open-source application for molecular dynamics simulation of biomolecules, especially designed for massively parallel computing. This package enables us to perform efficient parallel calculation on parallel computers ranging from 100 to 20,000 cores. For preparation of calculation and analysis of orbits, it uses visualization software VMD. It supports file formats compatible with other applications such as AMBER and CHARMM, and can be used on various computing environments.
DSQSS is an application program for solving quantum many body problems in a discrete set (typically a lattice). It carries out quantum Monte Carlo simulations that sample from the Feynman path integral using the worm update. It can handle any lattice geometry and interaction.
An application for simulating microstructures of alloys based on a phase-field method. This application can treat various problems in multi-component alloy systems such as solidification, solid-phase transition, and dynamics of crystal growth. Any required thermodynamic quantities can be obtained by calculating phase diagram or by direct coupling to the thermodynamic data calculated by other application.
ALPS is a numerical simulation library for strongly correlated systems such as magnetic materials or correlated electrons. It contains typicalsolvers for strongly correlated systems: Monte Carlo methods, exact diagonalization, the density matrix renormalization group, etc. It can be used to calculate heat capacities, susceptibilities, magnetization processes in interacting spin systems, the density of states in strongly correlated electrons, etc. A highly efficient scheduler for parallel computing is another improvement.

Open-source tools and a database for molecular simulation. Data of molecular models (interatomic potentials and force fields), result data of molecular simulation, and test tools can be downloaded freely. API (Application Programming Interface) for exchanging information between atomistic simulation codes and interatomic models is also provided.
A comprehensive online database for materials science. It covers 3,000 kinds of property information (crystal structure, phase diagrams, thermophysical property data, etc.) and 290,000 kinds of material data and provides efficient information search for these data. A variety of analytics tools, including data integration, graphing and customizable data visualization, are also available.
Database of equilibrium phase diagrams of alloys. This database contains more than 40,000 binary and ternary alloy phase diagrams, including associated crystal and reaction data for each phase diagram. One can easily search a target phase diagram by selecting contained elements.
